On the 7th of July in the Līgatne Nature Trails at the Forest School "Pauguri" Gauja NP representatives together with the association of disabled people and their friends „Apeirons” opened an information stand. It tells about the activities of the project "One environment for all". The slogan of the information stand is „Līgatne Nature Trails - accessible for everyone!"
In the 2008 association "Apeirons" in cooperation with the Gauja National Park carried out the project "One environment for all" partly financed by the Latvian Environmental Protection Fund. The aim of this project was to educate young people about environment, as well as to promote integration of people with disabilities into society. During the particular project joint works has been organized in the Līgatne Nature Trails, what was attended by young people with and without disabilities. These youngsters strived to improve the accessibility in the Līgatne Nature Trails by their own effort.
In March 2008 Līgatne Nature Trails were closed for visitors for the first time since its creation in 1975. There was tourism infrastructure improved and information renewed. During the reconstruction also accessibility of the area was improved.
