First manor-house was wooden and it was situated in the place of present Chevaliers' House at the Valāta River. There also was linden-tree alley to the manor-house. The Late Classicism style manor-house was built after the project of architect J.G.Berlic in 1800-1804. It is situated between the Chevaliers' House and granary. There is stone bridge over the dingle of the Valāta River on the way to the manor. Servants' House, Stable, dwelling-house, cowsheds and other householding buildings were built on the other side of the Valāta River starting with the 18th century and including the middle of the 19th century. On the other way of the road is situated old pub and mill. Manor-house was burned down at the time of revolutinery unrests in 1905. Baron von Manteifel renovated it in 1907 after the project of architect P.Šulce-Namburgh. Manor-house was dstroyed again in the of the World War I. Chevaliers' House is the most preserved example of the original decorative interiors finish that includes baroque stairs and floors covered with ornamental decorative parquetry in Great Hall. For the present day this building houses the State Agricultural Tech of Lazdanga.
