The building of Jezupova (Juzefova) St. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church was started in 1934 and was finished in 1961. After the building was finished the church was taken from the parish and there was established club. In 1989 the church was returned to the parish.

Juzefova Catholic Parish was situated in Southern part of Daugavpils region, on East from Daugavpils. Juzefova Parish bordered on Daugavpils the Most Holy Virgin Mary Parish, Liksna, Kalupe, Viski and Sprukti Roman Catholic Parishes. Distance to Daugavpils Virgin Mary’s Church – 18km, to Liksna – 25km, to Kalupe Parish there is no direct road, through the forest the distance is approximately 10km, going through Liksna – 35km, distance to Viski Church – 25km and to Sprukti Church – 13km.
