Going along the Daugava bank against the stream we reach the Koknese Lutheran Church, built in 1687. Pastor Ernest Glūck preached there during the years 1687 - 1702. The church is open daily in summer time. The big cast iron bell can be admired in the church spire. The interior has been decorated with pictures by the painter A. Dobenbergs.
