The House of Aspazija

Description
A house where famous poetess Aspazija spent last 10 years of her life it is located in the narrowest place of Jūrmala – in Dubulti, where ar narrow spit of 320 metres divides the river and the sea. The house is built in 1903 and is a unique sample of wooden architecture. In 1996 House of Aspazija was open for visitors as a memorial site of the poetess.
Museum offers also permanent exposition “Life and work of Aspazija from 1933 to 1943”; a paedogocial programme “Aspazija and the ink” is offered for junior grades. New married couples are invited to have their first joint cup of coffee in a living room of Aspazija, and enjoy historical interior of the room.
It is possible to rent premises for workshops and events.
