The Andrejs Pumpurs Lielvarde Museum

Description
The building was erected at the beginning of the 19th century as the manor granary, later it served as the residential quarters. Partially destroyed in 1917, it was restored in 1922 and a terrace was added.
The museum opened its doors in 1970 with an exposition honoring the epic „Lāčplēsis” and its author Andrejs Pumpurs (1841-1902); information is available about Lielvārde and the Lielvārde sash; the museum houses various exhibitions.
