From the very first, "Splendid Palace" it's visitors delighted with the excellent film program, demonstrated in international festivals award-winning films and films that has been earned worldwide fame. Cinema “Splendid Palace” is a place where you can see Latvian film premieres, national and international film festivals, performances, concerts, and enjoy opera and ballet live transmissions from the world famous opera houses and festivals.
With its neo-baroque facade and neo-Rococo style interior, "Splendid Palace" has delighted and fascinated every visitor.

One of the aims for Splendid Palace, is to promote good cinema accessibility for residents and visitors or Riga. To fulfill this aim, cinema are collaborating with the National Cinema Centre, Latvian Filmmakers Union, Latvian film festivals (Big Christopher, Arsenal, Baltic Pearl), foreign embassies and cultural centers.
Since 1994 cinema “Splendid Palace” has been the member of European film network “Europa Cinemas” and since 2007 – member of international art-house cinema association “Art Cinema” CICAE.

Venue Rental
Big Hall with its rich and solemn interior are perfect for movie premieres, the festival opening and closing ceremonies, opera, ballet and concert transmissions, theater performances and concerts.

New Hall is suitable for events for a small number of people - theater performances and concerts, cabaret-type activities and interest clubs, entertaining events for children and families.

Are three halls are perfect place for seminars, conferences, presentations, activities, private and corporate events with the movie or other video playback, as well as various multimedia projects.

Versailles hall on the first floor and Green Hall on the second floor is available for afterparty events, as well as coffee breaks and catering service
