Latvian Agricultural Museum presents agricultural industries, farming and life in the Latvian countryside of the end of the XIX century to the present day.
The museum has :

• Agricultural land cultivation machines, seeders, harvesting machines;
• Crop harvesting equipment;
• Tractors, cars, motorcycles and stationary engines;
• Geodesic instruments;
• Joiners and smithcraft instruments;
• Household accessories, light sources, radio and TV.

Collection of used ploughs is the fullest in Latvia as well as exposition of threshing machines – manufactured in Latvia threshing machine „Imanta” and standing threshing-mills. Proud of museum is self-propelled locomotive produced by English company „Garrett”. There are engines produced by Polish company „Ursus” and English company „Hornsby”. Collection of tractors is made of English tractors „Fergusson”, „Fordson” German tractor „Lanz Buldog” and other ones.

Points of interest are such unique objects as a fragment of Āraišu lake castle of 9^th century, wooden water pipe of Riga of the 17^th century and estate measurement map of 1668, plans of the 18 century.
In the museum you can find virtually everything having to do with the land, farming and rural backyard.
Library has an important collection of books and not only on agriculture. It will be useful to all interested parties, in particular - for pupils and students for study and scientific work.
